ProfileMU Terms of Service

In effect since: January 1, 2026 · Version 1.0

Welcome to ProfileMU. By using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Account

  • You must be at least 17 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential
  • 1 account = 1 website (except the Business plan which supports multi-staff)
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account

2. 14-Day Trial

  • Trial activates automatically on signup, no credit card required
  • During trial, you have access to all Pro plan features
  • After day 14: account enters read-only mode for 7 days
  • After day 21 (without subscription): account enters pending deletion, data permanently removed 24 hours later

3. Plans & Payment

  • Payment via Xendit (QRIS, VA, e-wallet) or Midtrans
  • Recurring auto-charge — you may cancel anytime via dashboard
  • Cancellation does not give a pro-rata refund; access remains until end of the period
  • Refunds only granted for total service failure on our side (uptime <99% in a month)

4. Your Content

Your content stays yours. We do not claim rights to text, images, or materials you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display to visitors, and back up while your account is active.

You warrant that your Content does not infringe copyright, Indonesian law (UU ITE), is not misleading/defamatory/SARA, and is free of malware/phishing.

5. Prohibited Content

Accounts used for the following will be suspended without warning and without refund: pornography/child exploitation, fraud/pyramid schemes, phishing/malware, unlicensed online gambling, drugs/weapons, hate speech/terrorism, spam.

6. Custom Domain

  • You are responsible for registering & renewing your own domain
  • Custom domain is only available on Pro & Business plans
  • Free SSL via Let's Encrypt — no additional charge

7. Uptime & SLA

We commit to 99.5% uptime for public sites (storefront). On failure, compensation is 1 day credit per 1 hour of downtime outside scheduled maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

Service is provided "as is". Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

You may close your account anytime via Settings > Close Account (data deleted within 30 days). We may suspend/close an account with 14 days notice, except for serious violations (Section 5) which may be immediate.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • First: amicable discussion via support@profilemu.com (response within 5 business days)
  • Mediation: BANI (Indonesian National Arbitration Board)
  • Governing law: Republic of Indonesia
  • Jurisdiction: South Jakarta District Court

11. Privacy

The handling of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
